Who We Are
** In the summer of 2022, I was watching a YouTube show about a guy who had a massive heart attack and had to lose weight to stay alive. His doctor said his BMI (body mass index) was a staggering 52, which meant he was morbidly obese.
I was feeling very lucky that I was in better shape than he was, because, YOU KNOW, as an overweight person, you are always comparing your body and weight to other people.
Then I calculated MY BMI: 57
I was shocked.
I have been dieting my entire adult life.
I had tried the following diets, lost weight on each, and gained back more:
Weight Watchers (x3,) Jenny Craig’s, Atkins, HCG Diet (x2), KETO (x2), and, Noom (x2)
I was too heavy, uncomfortable, and in pain most of the time…
